A slight downside was the checkout time at 10 AM, which felt a bit early and rushed. Having to take a taxi back to the airport added extra expense, but the staff helped arrange it seamlessly.

wakamatsu honten was a lovely experience. the traditional style room had a beautiful view of the stunning temple right outside my window. the onsen was relaxing, and i really enjoyed the authentic japanese breakfast provided in my room. also, it was super close to local attractions, adding to the charm.
